We have completed many projects over the years for Hill Partnerships, the most recent being Zenith House, a high rise urban regeneration development.
Our innovative value-engineering approach helped to reduce installation costs by utilising the buildings boosted cold water supply. This pioneering approach provides improved system reliability as the sprinkler system is constantly monitored, any faults would be reported almost instantly.
During the design process, we strove to ensure the sprinkler heads worked with the lighting scheme, often having several iterations to ensure the completed products are aesthetically pleasing and sympathetic to the ceiling design.
Fire sprinkler protection was provided to the feature 16 storey tower. We also supplied and installed dry risers into all 9 blocks of the development.
Triangle Fire Systems designed, supplied and installed the fire sprinkler system at Avant-garde on behalf of Telford Homes.
The 25 storey tower is at the height of shoreditch living, offering panoramic views across the city, and within easy reach of Londons most iconic locations.
The apartments are superbly finished and as always we ensured that the sprinkler system met the same high standard.
Triangle Fire Systems designed, supplied and installed the fire sprinkler system at Ontario Point.
Following discussions with Barratts to understand their requirements for this high rise, we agreed a value engineered approach of utilising the boosted cold water supply, an agreed enhancement to BS9251, approved by FIRAS.
The 24 storey high rise, with 144 apartments, is the crowning peak of Barratt's hugely successful Maple Quays development.
Following the successful completion at Ontario Point we were subsequently awarded the contract for the design, supply and installation of the fire sprinkler system at another Barratt's high rise development.
Altitude is a luxurious 27 storey development within the regeneration area of Aldgate.
Haddocks RiseTriangle Fire Systems designed, supplied and installed the fire sprinkler system at Haddocks Rise, a development of four houses in Sutton, Cambridgeshire.
Approved Document B, section 11.4 of building regulations states that certain criteria must be met for the access and egress of Fire Service vehicles. As these properties did not comply with with this requirement it was necessary for fire sprinklers to be installed in order to gain planning permission approval.
Due to insufficient water pressure, Triangle Fire Systems, couldn't use the mains supply and instead installed water storage tanks and fire pumps. The water tanks were concealed under the driveway and gardens (see image).
Following completion of the project we received a glowing reference from AKT Builders which can be viewed on our testimonial page.
Elmgrove Point High Rise
Triangle Fire Systems was asked by Galliford Try Partnerships to find a value engineered design to protect the 19 storey high rise at Elmgrove Point. The solution found was to have the flats on each floor being supplied from a valve group located in the service riser cupboard of each floor.
The flow switch on each floor, indicates the floor location of an actuated sprinkler head, on the fire sprinkler alarm panel in the ground floor foyer .The boosted domestic cold water supply was used to supply the required water. The advantage of this is that it complies with BS9251 and keeps installation and servicing cost down.
All flats were fitted with concealed fire sprinkler heads.
Greenwich Peninsular High Rise
Triangle Fire Systems installed the fire sprinkler system in the 19 storey tower block at City Peninsular. City Peninsular is the first new-build development at Greenwich Peninsular. The block features triplex luxury penthouse suites as well affordable apartments for shared ownership or rent

Warsash Clock Tower - Listed Building
The Warsash Clock Tower was built as a water tower, the tanks at the top holding 6000 litres, but by the mid-1930s these were rusting and the tower had fallen into a state of deriliction. In 1938 it was bought and the clock tower garages were used by local businesses. The current owner wanted to convert the tower into office space. The open plan layout presented a problem with fire safety particularly the means of escape. It was agreed in consultation with the local fire officer that a BS9251 fire sprinkler system together with a BS5839 fire alarm system would be accepted as a trade off to the usual protected means of escape. Triangle Fire Systems designed and installed both of these systems.
The Depot - Apartment Block
This development had problems with planning permssion due to the close proximity of existing adjacent buildings. To overcome this problem, fire sprinklers were installed in the flats, this ensured that any fire in the Depot would be contained by the fire sprinkler system and not spread to the adjacent building.
Arundel Fire Station
In October 2006 a fire raged in Arundel Fire Station that almost totally destroyed the building. It was decided that it should be rebuilt to match the existing building. It is now a modern high tech fire station with the added benefit of a fire sprinkler system designed and installed by Triangle Fire Systems.
Wat Tyler Inn - Listed Building
The Wat Tyler Inn is one of Dartford's oldest buildings. When the landlord wanted to make more use of the upstairs accomodation to increase the amount of guest rooms, there was problems with meeting Building Regulations as well as issues with National Heritage. Triangle Fire Systems worked with officials from the Kent Fire Brigade and National Heritage and agreed a suitable fire sprinkler design that could satisfy the Fire Authority and National Heritage. Pipe routes were agreed with National Heritage which was difficult as only floor boards that had previously been lifted could be lifted for the sprinkler system pipe work. The sprinkler system is supplied from a water storage tank and fire pump housed in the cellar.
Weymouth Fire Station
Dorset Fire & Rescue Service decided that their new flagship fire station should be protected with fire sprinklers. Triangle Fire Systems designed and installed the sprinkler system. The modern design and wavy roof presented difficulties with the installation but all areas were protected and all pipe work concealed.
Lambeth Water Tower Listed Building
The Victorian water tower at Lambeth is on the List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest at Grade 11. It is currently being converted to living accomodation and being featured on Grand Designs. Triangle Fire Systems are installing the fire sprinkler system. There are some unique problems with the design due to the interesting features of this building. The design is therefore being carried out on site by our engineers under the supervision of our design team.
Update: This installation is now completed. Completed photo will follow and the project in it's entirety can be seen on the Grand Designs TV program in October.

The existence of Sadler's Mill is first recorded in the 16th century. It has has a succession of owners including Lord Palmerston between 1747 and 1777. This building of great historical interest is now protected by a BS9251 fire sprinkler system designed and installed by Triangle Fire Systems.
